This centrally located gallery space is a well-appointed platform for both upcoming and established artists. Emphasis will always be placed on the quality of the work and the professionalism demonstrated by the artist. The aim of the Bank Windhoek Omba Gallery is to promote and market local and international art and design through quality exhibitions in the Gallery and to attract a diverse range of visitors to the Namibia Crafts Centre which is visited by over 30 000 visitors a year.
An invitation list comprising over 1000 names, is sent out prior to the opening of each event, and the show area covering 85mē makes it an ideal space for exhibitions, launches and other public or social activities. The gallery is known for hosting an annual exhibition of stunning top Namibian basketry as well as regularly showing Namibian San paintings and print artworks.
